- Famed TV adjudicator Judge Judy is passing her gavel down to her son, Adam Levy. In his new series, Adam’s Law, he’ll run a no-nonsense court much like his mother. The show premieres September 14th on your local CBS station.
- Damon Wayans will guest star in the season 3 premiere of St. Denis Medical. He’ll play Dr. Highland, who’s filling in for Ron (Damon’s In Living Color castmate, David Alan Grier) while he recovers from surgery.
- NBC will air a Law & Order: SVU marathon on Sep. 10th from 8 pm – 11 pm ET as its star Mariska Hargitay prepares to host the upcoming 78th Emmys. It’ll feature key episodes from the show’s 27 seasons showcasing performances that won her Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama Series for playing Captain Olivia Benson.
- American Idol has been renewed for its 25th season on ABC. Expect the premiere sometime next year.
