The highly anticipated 4th generation Tablo app for Samsung TIZEN smart TVs is now available!
Owners of 4th generation Tablo whole-home DVRs with supported Samsung smart TVs can now visit the apps section of their smart TV and download the Tablo app.
What You Can Expect
With the 4th generation Tablo app for Samsung smart TVs you can enjoy live and recorded antenna TV and 70+ free streaming channels on any compatible Samsung smart TV in your home.
The overall design will be familiar to anyone using other 4th generation Tablo apps including:
- A home screen highlighting favorites, recent recordings and recommendations
- The familiar live TV grid guide so you can see what’s on now and over the next two weeks
- And streaming-style guides that let you browse upcoming TV shows, movies and sports
Supported Samsung Smart TV Models
The 4th generation Tablo app for Samsung smart TVs is supported on Samsung TV models manufactured in 2019 or newer running TIZEN 5.0+.

Older Samsung smart TV models are not supported with this app, however, you can still access the Tablo app by purchasing and connecting a compatible streaming device to those models of Samsung televisions.
How to Download the Tablo App on Your Samsung Smart TV
To download the app, from the home screen of your Samsung smart TV navigate to the APPS section and then select the search icon in the top right corner. In the search field, type TABLO TV, select the dark blue Tablo app and select INSTALL.
If the app is listed on the Home menu once installed, use the remote’s directional pad to navigate to it and open it.
The app will locate and connect to your Tablo as long as it’s on the same home network as your smart TV.
If the app isn’t listed on the home menu, use the directional pad on your Samsung remote to select APPS and then select the TABLO app.
You can add the TABLO app to your Samsung smart TV’s home screen by going to APPS, selecting the SETTINGS icon in the upper right corner, highlighting the TABLO app and then selecting ADD TO HOME.
