I used to have a channel master DVR plus and towards the end it was really sucky. This device is a wonderful thing for me. I have a 40 foot tower and I pick up every station out of Chicago Illinois and I am recording and watching and enjoying the tablo every day.

Great device
Easy to set up and record your favorite shows to watch later. With the 4th generation you can record up to 4 programs at the same time. I got rid of you tube tv so this definitely saves me money every month. Plenty of streaming channels as well as OTA channels, so always something to watch. Love it.

Works great recording over the air programs.
My wife is a big fan of American Idol and she missed a couple of episodes last year so I got her the Tablo to record the series. Our streaming service doesn’t show local channels so this is the perfect solution for our local over the air programs. I even used it to record a football game or two this year. Great solution if you’re like me and refuse to pay the big bucks to the big boy streaming services or cable.
