Santa’s elves have got nothing on us here at Tablo this holiday season. We’re moving full steam ahead (with a few well deserved cookie breaks) to bring you a new, better way to watch HDTV in 2014. Here’s a sneak peek at a few things we’ve got on our to-do list:
Beta Program Tablo Units Shipping:
We’ve got an awesome group of folks who’ve signed up for our beta program. They’ll be the first to test Tablo in their homes and give us feedback on how to make it more awesome than it already is. The first batch of beta units have got special labels made up and are shipping out this week so Beta Team folks – keep an eye out for the FedEx delivery man!
Speaking of Shipping:
One of the most exciting things was finalizing the product packaging design – check it out! We think it’s pretty slick thanks to the lovely folks at Keith Design Group. It’ll be ready for the first batch of GA units shipping in Q1 2014.
Next Stop – Vegas!
No, we’re not going to play the slots with all of the money from the early adopter support, we’re exhibiting and demonstrating Tablo at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas January 7th – 10th. For those of you who don’t know, CES is the industry tradeshow where all of the big electronics companies unveil the latest and greatest gadgets to buyers and the media.
It’ll be super fun to meet up with other industry types and demo the product for everyone who stops by our booth (Eureka Park TechZone, Booth 75101 for those of you who might be attending).
What’s next for Tablo?
Things will just keep getting busier for us in 2014. We’ll be working very hard to finalize the product, polish the apps and integrate the feedback from our beta testers into the version of Tablo that we’ll be sending out to the rest of our early adopters and then finally to our general availability customers.
