Today’s question is from Kara who asks, “When I try to download the Tablo app I see there are two versions. Which should I use with my 4th generation Tablo?”
This summer we launched a slate of new Tablo apps specifically designed to work with the new 4th generation Tablo devices.
These apps have dark blue branding, are called Tablo and are available on iOS and Android mobile, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV platforms.
Apps for Apple TV, as well as smart TVs from Samsung, LG and Vizio are coming soon.
4th generation Tablo owners should NOT use the apps called Legacy Tablo with blue and orange branding, as those are only designed to work with older legacy Tablo devices.
Likewise, owners of legacy Tablo devices should not use the new Tablo apps until an upcoming firmware update which will enable compatibility.
