- Roku has announced additions to its product lineup, including two new streaming sticks, which will be available in early May. We haven’t yet tested these Roku devices for compatibility with Tablo. Previous HD-only Roku sticks have not been compatible.
- A number of new shows are in the works for the 2025-26 season, including:
- “America’s Culinary Cup” (CBS), a new cooking competition hosted by “Top Chef’s” Padma Lakshmi.
- “CIA” (CBS), a new series in the “FBI” franchise starring Tom Ellis.
- “DMV” (CBS), Harriet Dyer and Tim Meadows star in a single-camera comedy set in a motor vehicle office.
- “Einstein” (CBS), Matthew Grey-Gubler of “Criminal Minds” fame, plays Einstein’s mystery-solving great-grandson.
- “Gordan Ramsay’s Secret Service” (Fox), puts the feared chef under cover in failing restaurants to discover what’s causing them to fail.
- “Snake” (Fox), a game show where contestants persuade, deceive and romance their way to become and stay ‘the Snake’ to win a $100,000 prize.
- Sheryl Crow and LeAnn Rimes are joining as mega mentors on April 28th for NBC’s “The Voice’s” playoff rounds.
- FC Dallas has reached a deal with KDFI More 27 (a local over-the-air station) to broadcast full replays of their games on a 48-hour tape-delay. Good news, since Major League Soccer games are usually locked behind Apple’s paywall.
- It’s been confirmed that the 8os classic cartoon, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, is coming to MeTV Toons. We don’t have a specific ETA, so keep your eyes peeled.
