Q&A > Can I use my Tablo DVR to record radio signals?

This week's question comes from Crystal who says, "Can I use my Tablo DVR to record radio signals?"

Sorry, but Crystal is going to have to break out her boom box if she wants to record content from the radio.

That's because Tablo's tuners are designed to only pick up Over-the-Air TV.

While radio is broadcast in a similar way as TV, the frequencies are slightly different. Tablo's tuners will also reject signals that don't contain video information to ensure that only TV broadcasts are received.
