Happy Friday Cord Cutters!
This week we're talking Black Friday deals, Thanksgiving TV specials, more streaming box tips & tricks, Tablo on Xbox (yes!) and much more...
Let's get to it!
NEW - Tablo App for Xbox & Windows 10
We've had a very exciting week here at Tablo HQ with the launch of our latest app. Tablo is now fully compatible with the Xbox gaming platform and you can check out the full details on the blog. As an added benefit, you can also use the new app on PCs running Windows 10 if you'd prefer that interface to our browser app.
Nuvyyo Among Top Young Companies in Canada

In other news, Tablo's parent company Nuvyyo has also been named as a 'Company-to-Watch' by Deloitte which recognizes excellence and growth potential in young Canadian companies. Thanks to our awesome customers and amazing fans, our first three years with the Tablo brand has been very successful and we look forward to more good things in the future. Thank you for your support!

If you've seen deals on other cord cutting gear, drop us a note on Twitter or Facebook and we'll spread the word.
Thanksgiving Holiday TV Specials

If football isn't your thing there are several Thanksgiving Holiday specials to check out on broadcast TV over the coming week:
And for the Canadians who will be suffering through a regular work week, you may want to tune into CTV on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. for the annual Santa Claus Parade.
Xiaomi Mi Box Review (and a Handy Menu Hack!)

Waiting for a pro review of the new Xiaomi Mi Box? You're in luck - the folks over at TechHive have put the 4K Android TV device through its paces and are generally impressed for the price. You can read our thoughts on this device and other Tablo-supported streaming boxes on our blog.
One of the downsides mentioned in the review was the line of 'recommended apps' which was difficult to remove. Thankfully there is an easy hack that will make that part of the UI disappear forever without having to install, then uninstall the apps.
Tips To Turbocharge Your Roku

If you're rocking a Roku on your TV instead, the folks at Digital Trends have some good tips on how to make the most out of your streaming device like adding private channels, the benefits of using the smartphone app and keeping kids from making in-app purchases without you knowing.
Canadian Corner: Amazon Prime Video Coming to Canada?

Rumo(u)rs abound that Amazon will be bringing its subscription streaming service to the Canadian market. While the news isn't official yet, tweets from former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson (formerly of Top Gear) seem to point to Amazon going global 'in the coming weeks'.
Amazon's potential arrival has interesting timing given that Rogers/Shaw-run Shomi's imminent demise and the fact that service held the rights to several Amazon shows including Transparent.
Clarkson's new show The Grand Tour premieres on Amazon Prime Video in the US today.
