- The Golden Girls is returning to over-the-air TV after a 30 year absense. MeTV will feature this classic show weekdays starting March 16th at 10 p.m. and Sundays at 6:00 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
- Look for the following shows to be renewed next season:
- ABC has confirmed Abbott Elementary and Grey’s Anatomy have been renewed with High Potential, Will Trent, Shifting Gears, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Nashville and The Rookie also likely to be picked up for new seasons.
- NBC has slated Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical to return with One Chicago (Fire, P.D. and Med) and Law & Order very likely to be renewed.
- FOX has announced a slew of mid-season premieres, including:
- The Faithful: Women of the Bible on Sunday, March 22nd, 8 p.m to 10 p.m. ET.
- Master Chef on Wednesday, April 15th, 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
- Running Wild with Bear Grylls on Tuesday, April 21st at 9 p.m. ET.
- A number of new pilots are on the horizon:
- NBC is considering:
- Puzzled, a consulting detective show starring Damon Wayans.
- Newlyweds, a comedy starring Tèa Leoni. It’s about a free-spirited woman who marries a stuffy professor after a very short courtship.
- What the Dead Know, a Wolf Entertainment crime drama where Taylor Schilling stars as a death investigator who helps the NYPD.
- On CBC’s plate is:
- Regency, a Victorian sitcom where Haley Griffith and Mia Challis star as upper-class sisters.
- NBC is considering:
- Based on FCC filings, it looks like two new Onn streaming devices will be coming to Walmart shelves, perhaps as early as April.
