- “Joan Rivers: A Dead Funny All-Star Tribute” will air on NBC on May 13th at 10 pm ET/PT. It’s a star-studded send-off to a legend of comedy.
- A smorgasbord of renewals have been announced:
- On Fox: “The Simpsons”, “Family Guy” and “Bob’s Burgers”. “American Dad” is also returning to the network.
- On ABC: “Grey’s Anatomy”, “911”, “The Rookie”, “Will Trent” and “Shifting Gears”.
- On CBS: “Watson” and “The Bold and the Beautiful“.
- ION is launching the Sports Illustrated Women’s Games, a week-long multi-sport competition hosting basketball, gymnastics, tennis, volleyball and combat sports. Tune in October 27th to the 31st to watch the action.
- For the first time ever, the MTV Video Music Awards will be simulcast on CBS. Tune in on September 7th from 8 pm to 11 pm ET to catch it.
- Two new Tablo-compatible streaming devices are reportedly on the way from Roku and Walmart’s Onn Brand.
