The air is getting crisp and that means Fall TV premiere season is here! To make sure you don’t miss out on any new series or returning favorites, we’ve assembled a few quick tips for TV lovers on discovering fall TV shows with the 4th Generation Tablo.
Browse Upcoming Network Premieres

Available on the HOME screen of all 4th Generation Tablo apps, the Upcoming Network Premieres row displays all shows premiering on major broadcast networks over the next two weeks.
With this row, you can easily browse brand new and returning series, check out the synopsis and set recording schedules to make sure you don’t miss an episode.
Check back regularly as new TV Guide Data gets loaded into the system every night!
Schedule Your Returning Fall Favorites

If you’re new to Tablo, the Upcoming Network Premieres row will also help you easily find and set your favorite returning fall TV series to record.
Can’t find some of your favorites like NCIS, FBI, Tracker, or 911 yet? Don’t worry! Once we’re within 14 days of their October premiere dates, you’ll be able to see and schedule recordings for them with Tablo.
If you’ve had Tablo for more than a year, the shows you set series recordings for last fall will automatically resume recording as the season premiere dates approach.
Double-check your upcoming scheduled recordings in LIBRARY > COMING SOON, or by navigating to LIBRARY > RECORDINGS and then selecting the SCHEDULED tab within any series.
Customize Your Recording Schedules

As you’re scheduling new shows, don’t forget to take advantage of Recording Options, which can be found next to the Series Recording button of any show in the 4th Generation Tablo app.
Recording Options allow you to tailor your recording schedules by setting limits on how many recordings of a series to keep before they’re deleted automatically, record from a specific channel and much more.
Check For Conflicts

There’s so much to watch on broadcast TV this fall that you might run into scheduling conflicts.
Each 4th Generation Tablo has either two or four tuners, which allow you to watch or record up to two or four over-the-air TV channels at once.
If you attempt to schedule too many programs airing at the same time, your Tablo will flag this for you in LIBRARY > CONFLICTS.
In the Conflicts screen, you can quickly review any scheduling conflicts and choose which episodes should take priority and which can be safely unscheduled.
