- Look forward to Svengoolie’s Boo-Nanza. Every Saturday in October, enjoy a double feature of Svengoolie and the House of Svengoolie with B-movie classics such as Invasion of the Body Snatchers and Frankenstein Meets Wolfman.
- On Friday October 2nd, go somewhere over the rainbow with an unedited broadcast of The Wizard of Oz. This will be followed on Saturday by Svengoolie Presents the Wizard of Oz.
- Starting Sunday, September 27th at 1:30 AM ET set your Tablo to record Animation Antiques, an hour-long block of early toons including Betty Boop and Koko the Clown.
- Two new co-hosts are joining Good Morning America’s weekend broadcasts starting September 12th. ABC News senior political correspondent Rachel Scott will join Saturday host Whit Johnson and Rhiannon Ally of World News Now will join Sunday host Gio Benitez.
- Schitt’s Creek alum Noah Reid may parlay an upcoming guest spot in Sheriff Country into a leading role in CBS’s new Fire Country – Sheriff Country series spinoff. Reid is set to star as the gruff but principled Dr. Hudson ‘Hud’ Henshaw. Still in development, the upcoming show is unofficially titled Edge Med.
- Edie Falco (The Sopranos) will star in a new Fox legal drama, Katie Greaves. Falco plays a lawyer returning to work after a personal tragedy, who believes everyone deserves a second chance and someone to fight for them. Expect it in the 2027-28 broadcast season.
- Scripps Sports debuted two sports interview programs last week:
- The Originals, Tuesdays at 8 PM ET, interviews athletes, coaches and sports figures with a focus on how their careers shaped their sports in unexpected ways.
- Beyond the Curve, Tuesdays at 9:00 PM ET, is a conversation series centered on athletes reinventing themselves after they leave the field behind.
