Tablo OTA DVR is my favorite DVR for numerous reasons, but its most impressive quality is how flexible it is. They don’t require you subscribe to their DVR guide, but if you do they offer both a recurring subscription or a one-time payment.
They support every major streaming device and there is functionality from third party products like Plex. There is even a function called Tablo Connect that works like Slingbox, allowing you to access the recorded programs while you’re away from home through the, internet, Wi-Fi, or cellular data connection.
