Antenna-based DVR: Tablo
If you plan on getting some mileage out of your new digital antenna, you may want to give it DVR functionality with something like the Tablo. This allows you to record over-the-air broadcasts you watch through your antenna, then stream those recordings on a smartphone, tablet, or similar web-connected device.
This makes it possible to, say, watch Sunday Night Football on your iPhone without touching a cable bill. The Tablo is expensive, but if you know you’ll be using your antenna frequently, it works wonders.
