I didn't plan to stop watching TV - I just wanted to stop paying for it. I was spending close to $150 a month to get programming from a mid-tier satellite package to four TVs. Now I spend $0 a month. I get so excited whenever I think about this that a little pee comes out.

I cut the cord due to the ever-increasing costs and horrible customer service with cable. I’m saving around $100 a month now!
What do you get with an HDTV antenna that you couldn’t get another way?
