Ottawa, Ontario- May 8, 2017- Nuvyyo, the maker of the Tablo Over-the-Air (OTA) DVR for cord cutters, has been named one of Ottawa’s Fastest Growing Companies for 2017 by the Ottawa Business Journal thanks to a three-year growth rate of 268 per cent. Nuvyyo ranked 7th among the 10 companies that made this year’s list as a result of demonstrated substantial and continuous growth over the past 3 years.

Nuvyyo’s CEO, Grant Hall, attributes much of the commercial success behind the Tablo product to not only the innovative nature of the consumer technology itself, but also to heavy investments in online marketing and live, local support.

“We’ve built a disruptive consumer brand around cord cutting technology at a time when the TV industry is at a tipping point,” said Grant Hall, CEO, Nuvyyo. “Challenging the status quo of poor customer service and expensive cable contracts with an innovative Over-The-Air DVR, supported by powerful social media engagement and outstanding customer service; we have become the trusted DVR brand of choice for cord cutters in every US state and many Canadian provinces.”

In partnership with the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, the Ottawa Business Journal is hosting a special awards reception to honour Ottawa’s Fastest Growing Companies of 2017. Members from the Nuvyyo team will be at The Innovation Centre at Bayview Yards on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 to receive their award, celebrate and network among their high-growth peers.
