Lots of products including the new Over the Air standard that allows for more interactivity in a free over the air signal, known as NextGen TV, we more often talk about it as ATSC 3.0.
Tablo has announced an ATSC 3.0 compliant 4-tuner DVR with HDMI support for 4K.
Tablo usually lets you stream from the Tablo to any app and requires you to bring your own hard drive from 1-8TB. This one will require you to bring your own hard drive, but it will NOT stream to other devices. It will only work on the TV you hook it up to.
For free, you get a 24 hour program guide, but if you want to pay ($50/year) you can increase that to two weeks and add automatic commercial skip as well (for an additional $20/year).
Tablo ATSC 3.0 QUAD HDMI is available for pre-order now for $299.
