OK... now let's get to it!

Q&A > How to Delete Multiple Recordings from my Tablo DVR?

Tablo Fire TV Interface Delete Options

Send us your most pressing TV viewing questions via email so we can answer them in an upcoming issue.

This week's question is from Edward who says, "How can I delete multiple recordings from my Tablo DVR at once?"

By default, Tablo DVRs offer several different options for deleting recordings within a single TV series: DELETE ALL, DELETE WATCHED, and DELETE FAILED.

Delete all will clear out all recordings of that particular show. Delete watched will clear out the programs that you've finished watching but leave the ones you haven't yet viewed. Delete failed is handy when your TV antenna is experiencing reception problems and Tablo was unable to record several episodes.

You can also permanently or temporarily enable the KEEP X advanced recording option on a particular series. Keep X will automatically retain only the latest episodes in a series, deleting older recordings once you hit a specific number of episodes. If you have 10 episodes of a show on your Tablo, enabling KEEP X with a limit of 3 will instantly delete the 7 older episodes from your DVR.
