NEWS: Comcast is Earning Big Bucks Off 'Free' TV Channels
A recent analysis from the folks at KillTheCableBill.com found the 'broadcast TV' fee for Comcast customers has increased more than 500% since 2014.
The company as a whole is pulling in more than $2 billion in annual revenue just from content that is available to consumers for FREE with an Over-the-Air antenna.
And they're not alone. All cable companies are using this fee increase tactic because they can be applied at any time, even if you're under contract.
The only way to avoid these sneaky fees is to cancel your cable contract in favor of free Over-the-Air TV and streaming TV.

Q&A: How Can I Watch Local News & Sports Without Cable?
Send us your most pressing cord cutting questions via email so we can answer them in an upcoming issue.
This week's question comes from both Jen and Ed who ask, "How can I cut the cord and still get local news and sports?"
Keeping access to live, local TV is one of the key concerns when people are preparing to cut the cord.
Fortunately watching your favorite local newscasts as well as your sports teams - including Major League Baseball - is usually quite easy.
The best way to get both of these types of content is with an Over-the-Air antenna which gives most folks access to their local broadcast channels for free. If you're not sure what antenna to buy or where to install it, check out our Beginner's Guide to OTA TV for tips and advice.
If you like to record the news or the game to watch it later, you can add a Tablo OTA DVR to your antenna setup. Tablo connects to your antenna to provide a similar experience to the cable or satellite DVR you might be used to today.
If your home is in a location with poor antenna reception, there are alternatives.
Some local TV stations stream content via apps like NewsON or via their websites.
Live streaming TV services are also an option for local news as well as sports. But unlike watching that same content via Over-the-Air TV, they can be subject to sports blackouts, have restrictions on recordings, and for those with bandwidth caps, can use up a significant amount of data.
