Happy Friday Cord Cutters!
Today we're talking about the continued growth of the cord cutting movement, which is no surprise given how easy it is to ditch cable now.
We've also got the scoop on hot antenna and Smart TV deals, a how-to on watching the Oscars as a cord cutter, this week's must-see OTA TV and more!
As always, if someone you know is interested in cutting the cord on cable or satellite, please forward our newsletter, or use the handy share buttons at the top of this email.
OK... now let's get to it!
NEWS: Cord Cutting Increases Again in Q4
Almost 500,000 consumers ditched their cable and satellite subscriptions in the last quarter of 2017, with the total number of subscribers dropping by 3.4%.
This is the third consecutive fourth quarter drop, as people continue to seek out more affordable and flexible alternatives like Over-the-Air TV and streaming services.
If you cut the cord in 2017, tell us on Twitter or Facebook what finally prompted you to ditch cable and what gear and services you're using to watch TV now.
DEALS: 50% Off Mohu Antennas, $400 Off RCA Roku TVs
If you're looking for a new Over-the-Air TV antenna, open box versions of many of Mohu's most popular models are 50% off with the promo code OPENBOX50.
The sale ends Monday March 5th, so don't miss out!
There's also a smokin' deal on an RCA Roku-powered 4K Smart TV at Walmart. The TV is regularly $800, and is now down to $379.99! (Thanks to @CordCutterDeals for sharing this!)
HOW TO: Watch the Academy Awards as a Cord Cutter
Smart cord cutters know that the key to catching any live event without cable is an Over-the-Air TV antenna, and this Sunday's Academy Awards is no exception.
Whether you're at the edge of your seat from the start of the red carpet coverage, or you just tune in for the best picture award, the Tablo blog has expert advice from our friends at Cut Cable Today on how to watch.
SUBCHANNELS: Mary Tyler Moore Binge on Decades TV
Oscars not your cup of tea? That's OK!
Decades TV - a digital sub-channel on many CBS affiliates - runs a melange of classic TV and original specials. Each weekend they feature a 'Decades Binge' and this week they're showing 48 hours worth of the classic and iconic Mary Tyler Moore Show!
The binge starts off March 3rd at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT with the first episode where Mary moves to Minneapolis and has her job interview with Mr. Grant (“You’ve got spunk…I HATE Spunk!").
Find out if Decades is available in your area using the Tablo Channel locator tool.
(This segment is brought to you thanks to our subchannel guru Michael Heiss.)

CANADIAN CORNER: DAZN Announces MLS Soccer Deal
Sports streaming service DAZN has announced a content deal with MLS soccer in the wake of the league shuttering its own direct-to-fan service. Starting this weekend, fans can catch a minimum of 262 games over the course of the 2018 season.
Of course there's a catch... Games featuring Canadian teams won't be available live (those rights belong to TSN), but will be available for replay two days later.
