Why did you cut the cord?
Cable TV from the very early days touted access to commercial-free programs for a fee. That was a policy I could support.
Then not only did the majority of commercial-free programs go away, but the rise in the commercial-to-program ratio rendered them unwatchable.
And instead of the cost going down with the increase of commercials, the price went up. Way up.
It is possible to use more than one Tablo DVR within your home, and even on the same home network but there are considerations to ponder before proceeding with this setup.

Today the Federal Communications Commission in the US voted 3-2 to approve the ‘voluntary rollout’ the ’Next Gen TV’ Over-the-Air (OTA) TV standard otherwise known as ATSC 3.0.
While this paves the way for local broadcasters to begin work on delivering broadcast signals via ATSC 3.0, stations are required to continue broadcasts in today's ATSC 1.0 signals for at least 5 years after they make the switch.
