Why did you cut the cord? How much money are you saving each month?
We were, like so many others, numb to the high-cost of (popular Canadian provider) Rogers Cable service for many, many years. We were afraid to ‘cut the cord’, thinking that the high cost of cable was the only way to get good programing and HD content. After a truly horrible customer service incident in November 2013 we decided to cancel our Rogers service. We installed a roof mount HD antenna but still hadn’t found a reliable OTA DVR solution. Shortly thereafter Tablo was introduced to the market. Our savings for cutting the cord is $65.83 per month ($790 per year).
As you might know, Tablo recently announced a new Roku channel as well as interfaces for Amazon Fire TV and Android TV would be coming in the first quarter of 2015.
When we unveiled screenshots for both interfaces earlier this month, people got pretty excited.
The 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) starts tomorrow in Las Vegas. For those of you not 'in the know', CES is the largest tradeshow in the United States and is where all of the newest cool consumer-focused gadgets are unveiled.
Last year at CES we introduced the Tablo 2-Tuner DVR and this year we want to make an equally big splash.
That's why we're very excited to finally unveil some awesome stuff we're cooking up at Tablo HQ.
